Chocolate Tax

With the British Government considering tax on Chocolate one has to wonder if they have considered the implications of such a stealth tax on small businesses working within the promotional gift and incentives industry. www.sugarworks.co.uk have been manufacturing chocolate and bespoke promotional packaging and incentive gifts for business to business marketing for over 12 years. With the consideration of a new tax many companies will loose out - promoting a business product or service using confectionery including sweets and chocolate are already taxed, additional taxes will only see more businesses fail. If you wanna beat this tax then take a look at what you can afford with cost effective products and business gifts before the UK government put a stop this this little luxury.

Promoting you business with business gifts and promotional products should not be taxed - the Uk is already suffering with too many taxes, an additonal tax on Chocolate is another way for the Uk Government to squeeze even more tax from Uk businesses.

  1. Tax on this tax on that, chocolate is being one of the little pleasures in our life. But now Government considering tax on Chocolate? I think putting tax on items is a stealth technique of filling the coffers and will be as much use as a chocolate teapot.
